The Bunny Hop 5K is an annual race that raises funds and awareness for charity. The run is hosted by the State College Area High School National Honor Society.
All proceeds from the second annual Bunny Hop 5K will directly support the Four Diamonds in honor of Maryann Newcomb, a State High graduate and former NHS member who is bravely battling leukemia. The Four Diamonds works to conquer childhood cancer by covering the expenses of families and supporting innovative, life-saving research.
The Four Diamonds is a charitable organization based out of the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Its ultimate objective is to "conquer childhood cancer".
